ISLAMABAD: UK-based Pakistani-origin doctor Dr Azqa Sohail has been selected as Miss Supranational Pakistan 2026 and will represent the country at the global Miss Supranational 2026 competition to be held in Poland.
The Miss Supranational pageant is among the world’s five major beauty competitions, where contestants from different countries showcase their culture, traditions, social contributions and talents on an international platform.
Dr Azqa Sohail is a medical doctor and aesthetic practitioner associated with the healthcare sector in the United Kingdom. Alongside her professional career, she is actively involved in women empowerment initiatives and serves as a board member of London-based charity organisation Adana, which works for the education, welfare and social development of women and girls.
She said social service remains an important part of her life and she is committed to creating better opportunities for women. She credited her mother’s struggle and achievements as a major source of inspiration, saying her mother rose from a small village in Punjab to become a college principal in the UK through education, hard work and determination.
Representing Pakistan at Miss Supranational 2026, Dr Azqa will present the country’s culture, traditions, values and the potential of Pakistani women on the global stage. The competition will mark her first international beauty pageant appearance.
Miss Pakistan Organisation President Sonia Ahmed congratulated Dr Azqa on her selection, saying Miss Supranational is one of the most prestigious international pageants and she is the third Pakistani representative at the event
