KHAIRPUR (Lord Media): A violent clash between two factions of the Narejo clan over a marriage dispute in Khairpur’s Piryaloi area resulted in the deaths of six individuals, including a father and son, while three others were injured. The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Faiz Muhammad Bindo police station, with the deceased comprising four men and two women.
Khairpur SSP reported that upon receiving information, a heavy police contingent, including armored vehicles and APCs, arrived at the scene. The bodies and injured were transported to Pir Jo Goth Hospital and GIMS Hospital.
Police stated that firing between the groups continues, spreading fear and panic in the area. Further investigations into the incident are underway.
