AMMAN (Lord Media): Jordan’s armed forces announced that their air defense system intercepted and destroyed eight missiles fired by Iran. According to the state news agency, air raid sirens were activated nationwide as the missiles entered Jordanian airspace.
Government spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Hussain Al-Momani stated that the missiles were successfully neutralized in time, and the armed forces remain on high alert to ensure the safety and security of the kingdom and its citizens.
Iranian media claimed that a U.S. military base in Jordan was targeted, but there has been no official response from the United States so far.
Dr. Al-Momani further mentioned that relevant authorities will continue to provide timely information and necessary instructions to the public, urging citizens to rely only on official sources for information.
