Akhtar Mengal’s privileges withdrawn after NA resignation

ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): Following Sardar Akhtar Mengal’s resignation from the National Assembly seat, all his privileges have been withdrawn. Mengal sent a cheque of 7.892 million rupees to the National Assembly Secretariat. He resigned from NA-256 Khuzdar on September 3, 2024, and the Speaker of the National Assembly accepted the resignation on February 11, 2026, making it effective from September 3, 2024.

The National Assembly Secretariat has confirmed receipt of the amount via cheque.

Mengal stated that he was offloaded while traveling to Dubai and was informed by immigration staff that his name was included in the Provisional National Identification List.
