KARACHI (Lord Media): Global and local gold prices have surged due to escalating tensions between Iran and the United States. The international bullion market saw the price of gold per ounce rise by 36 U.S. dollars, reaching 4,113 U.S. dollars. Consequently, the price of gold per tola in local markets increased by 3,600 rupees, reaching 433,836 rupees.
Additionally, the local price of gold per 10 grams rose by 3,086 rupees, bringing it to 371,944 rupees.
Meanwhile, the international market saw silver prices per ounce remain stable at 59 U.S. dollars and 42 cents, which kept the local silver price per tola steady at 6,421 rupees and per 10 grams at 5,504 rupees.
