MUMBAI (Lord Media): Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Gauri tied the knot on July 5 at Khan’s Bandra residence in Mumbai, attended by close family and friends. Gauri’s distinctive ruby ring captured everyone’s attention at the ceremony.
The ring was specially designed by luxury jewelry brand ‘Queen’ and features a rare ruby sourced from Madagascar. The company revealed that it took several months to find this unique gem.
Amit Kumar, co-founder of Queen, shared that it took three months to locate the ruby. The crafting process involved 256 hours of work by 131 experts to complete the ring.
Kumar emphasized that the ring’s creation involved not just the ruby but also meticulous attention to design, crafting, and finishing, giving it a regal touch.
The ruby is set in a gold crown-like structure, adding to its uniqueness. It was polished using a cabochon cut, enhancing its color and shine.
While diamonds are typically used in wedding rings, the choice of ruby makes this piece special. Aamir Khan and Gauri’s wedding, marked by simplicity, has gained notable attention.
