WASHINGTON (Lord Media): Former U.S. President Donald Trump has termed the court ruling on birthright citizenship as devastating for the United States. He announced plans to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court to revisit the birthright citizenship case, asserting that the judicial decision is erroneous and could lead to the country’s downfall if not overturned.
Trump further stated that American citizenship is not for sale and such practices are considered criminal. It is noteworthy that Trump had attempted to end the right to citizenship for children born in the U.S.
Subsequently, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the birthright citizenship, affirming that the right applies equally to all children born in the United States.
