LAHORE (Lord Media): Veteran Pakistani actor Firdous Jamal has refused to acknowledge Shah Rukh Khan as a great actor, stating that he does not consider Khan to be a good actor. Jamal expressed these views during a recent appearance on a private TV program, where he also commented on the Pakistani entertainment industry, Bollywood, and Hollywood.
When asked by the host about Dilip Kumar’s legacy being passed on to Shah Rukh Khan, Jamal disagreed, asserting that there is no reality to the concept of legacy or territory in acting. He emphasized that acting is neither land nor a degree.
Highlighting Shah Rukh Khan’s shortcomings, Jamal pointed out that Khan’s manner of speaking and physical appearance were not impressive. He acknowledged Khan as a major star but did not regard him as a great actor.
