ARGENTINA (Lord Media): In the Argentinian city of Toledo, flight instructor Leandro Andres Bertazzo committed suicide by jumping from a moving plane, while his 22-year-old trainee, Rosario, safely landed the aircraft. The incident occurred on Saturday when Bertazzo instructed the trainee to continue flying, removed his headset and seatbelt, opened the plane door, and jumped.
Bertazzo’s body was recovered after the incident, and despite being in shock, Rosario managed to land the plane successfully. Eduardo Alvarez, the director of the flying school, stated that Bertazzo had shown no prior signs indicating his intentions.
Alvarez further mentioned that Bertazzo made this tragic decision in the presence of another person, highlighting the complexities of the human mind. He described Bertazzo as a cheerful and experienced pilot who had also worked as a flight instructor in Chile.
The Argentinian public prosecutor’s office confirmed the incident, stating that a thorough investigation will be conducted to determine the events leading up to Bertazzo’s death.
