TEHRAN (Lord Media): Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has issued a stern warning to the United States, stating that any act of intimidation, threats, or broken promises will not go unanswered. In a statement on social media platform X, Ghalibaf asserted that if attacked, Iran will retaliate.
He dismissed U.S. pressure regarding the Strait of Hormuz, declaring that this crucial maritime passage will remain open only under Iranian management, not American threats. Ghalibaf further cautioned against futile efforts, warning that such actions would only lead to deeper entanglement.
The Iranian speaker’s remarks come amid escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran in the region, with the security of the Strait of Hormuz drawing global attention. Notably, the U.S. has conducted attacks in Iran, including in Bandar Abbas, resulting in the death of a firefighter and targeting a railway bridge.
