China praises Pakistan’s anti-terror efforts

New York (Lord Media): China has once again acknowledged Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with China’s Minister of State for Home Affairs and Head of the Special Service Bureau, Ling Xuefeng, at the United Nations headquarters. The meeting concluded with an agreement to strengthen counter-terrorism cooperation and strategic partnership.

The ministers emphasized enhancing cooperation on internal security, border management, illegal immigration, and anti-narcotics efforts. Mohsin Naqvi stressed the need to curb terrorist financing at all levels.

The Chinese Minister of State for Home Affairs appreciated Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war against terrorism and highlighted the necessity of joint efforts in counter-terrorism. Visa and immigration issues will also be reviewed.

Separately, Pakistan and Sri Lanka agreed to enhance cooperation on anti-narcotics measures and police training. This agreement was reached between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Sri Lankan counterpart, Anand Wijeypala.
