Islamabad (Lord Media): Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has asserted that cross-border terrorism will be crushed with the full might of the state. According to ISPR, the Field Marshal visited the National Defence University and addressed graduating officers of the National Security and War Course. Officers from all three armed forces participated in the course.
Field Marshal Munir highlighted the evolving nature of warfare and expressed confidence in the capabilities, high morale, and operational readiness of the armed forces.
On the occasion, he stated that institutions like NDU are preparing future military and civilian leadership to counter hybrid threats. The Army Chief made it clear that all efforts by proxy elements under the patronage of enemy agencies will fail.
He further emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully aware of enemy intelligence agencies and will not allow proxy elements to harm Pakistan’s peace and prosperity. The forces, with the support of the nation, will ensure the elimination of these proxy elements’ hideouts.
According to ISPR, Field Marshal Munir stated that strategic insight and institutional professional competence are crucial to tackling complex strategic challenges. Wars are won not by rhetoric or political slogans, but through faith, unity, and discipline.
