Kasur (Lord Media): Police have arrested two girls accused of throwing acid on a young man in Kasur. According to police, one of the girls lured the man to an isolated spot and attacked him with acid while he was riding a motorcycle. The victim, who had recently returned from Malaysia, filed an FIR against the girl at the Sadar Kasur police station.
In his complaint to the police, the young man stated that he was on his way to have tea with friends when the accused suddenly threw acid on him, affecting his face and eyes. The accused also allegedly took 60,000 rupees and a gold chain from his pocket. Doctors at Jinnah Hospital reported that the victim’s eye membrane was damaged.
The young man alleged that the accused threw acid on him at the behest of his ex-wife, whom he had divorced.
The family of the accused claims that the young man was blackmailing their daughter into marriage, prompting her to take this step with the help of her friend. They stated that their daughter feels no remorse.
