Lahore (Lord Media): The arrival of 23 rare flamingos at Khanpur lakes has increased their total number to 43. Chief Wildlife Ranger Captain (Retd) Muhammad Wasim stated that Punjab’s wetlands are becoming attractive habitats for rare aquatic birds due to effective conservation efforts.
He added that the hard work of wildlife rangers is yielding positive results, marking a success for wildlife conservation efforts.
The Chief Wildlife Ranger emphasized that the protection of natural resources and wildlife in Punjab will be ensured at all costs, with the safeguarding of habitats and their resident animals and birds being a top priority.
