Lahore (Lord Media): Astrid Gabriela Robinson, a foreign woman who was abducted and assaulted in Lahore, has made shocking revelations before a magistrate. In her affidavit, she stated that she was mistreated and subjected to violence.
Robinson described her ordeal, stating that four armed men tied her up, and one of them assaulted her by touching her private parts. Another foreign woman accompanying her also faced a similar situation.
Police have arrested four suspects and filed charges against them for a ransom demand of 1.5 million U.S. dollars and assault. According to the police, suspect Raza Dar and the two women were business partners and were invited to Pakistan for business dealings.
Senator Faisal Vawda alleged on social media that a close relative of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar is involved in the incident and accused the government of trying to suppress the matter. He has demanded Ishaq Dar’s resignation.
