Istanbul (Lord Media): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Istanbul at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, where he was warmly received. At Ataturk Airport, Turkish Minister of Trade Professor Dr. Omer Bolat, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey Dr. Yousaf Junaid, and other officials welcomed the Prime Minister.
Accompanying the Prime Minister are Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and other senior government officials. During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will hold a one-on-one meeting and delegation-level talks.
The two leaders will engage in detailed discussions to further strengthen the fraternal relations between Pakistan and Turkey. The meeting will cover cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, defense collaboration, energy, and education.
According to sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Erdogan will also discuss regional and global situations. Both leaders will reaffirm their commitment to joint cooperation for peace and stability in the region.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will also address a business conference hosted by Pakistan in Istanbul. The conference aims to inform Turkish investors about investment opportunities in Pakistan.
