Karachi (Lord Media): A suspect was killed in an alleged encounter between police and suspects in the Korangi area. According to Edhi officials, the suspect’s body has been moved to Jinnah Hospital.
A spokesperson for Korangi Police stated that the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Korangi Industrial Area Police Station. Police signaled suspicious motorcyclists to stop on the road leading from KDA Pulia to Mill Area, prompting them to open fire. In the ensuing exchange of fire, one suspect, identified as Asad son of Sharifullah, was killed.
Police further reported that a 30-bore pistol, a mobile phone, and a motorcycle were recovered from the deceased suspect. Efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect who fled the scene.
