Rawalpindi (Lord Media): Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Libya’s Arab Armed Forces, at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi. The meeting concluded with an agreement to enhance defense cooperation and military training between the two nations.
According to the ISPR, Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa was presented with a guard of honor upon his arrival at the General Headquarters. During the meeting, discussions were held on matters of mutual interest, regional security, and the promotion of military relations.
Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening defense ties and expanding cooperation in professional military training. Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa lauded the professionalism of Pakistani forces and their contributions to regional peace.
