Zurich (Lord Media): U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that the United States is open to establishing new relations with Iran if its leadership ceases to cause regional instability and dismantles its nuclear program. Vance mentioned that President Trump has directed efforts to improve relations with the Iranian people.
Vance further expressed a desire to bring change in the Middle East through diplomacy, envisioning a future of peace and prosperity for all. He noted that following the end of Iran’s nuclear program, it is time to move forward, and prior to the Islamabad Dialogue, there had been no high-level talks between Iran and the United States.
The Vice President also praised Pakistan’s positive role globally, commending Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. He emphasized that the U.S. seeks a positive role from Iran to promote peace in the region.
