Lahore (Lord Media): Aaqib Javed stated that there is no clarity yet on the national Test captaincy. He mentioned that after a meeting of all selectors, the approval of the national captain will be given to the chairman. A final decision on this matter is expected in the coming days.
When asked about Salman Ali Agha’s captaincy in the T20 format, Aaqib Javed remarked that making long-term decisions in modern cricket is very challenging.
He noted that in T20, different strategies need to be considered, and they are exploring various options. According to him, the most crucial aspect of being a captain is to inspire other team members through one’s performance.
