PTI’s Ali Khan urges end to criticism of judiciary, army

Islamabad (Lord Media): PTI Member of the National Assembly, Ali Muhammad Khan, has stated that there should be no criticism of the armed forces and the judiciary. Speaking during a National Assembly session, he emphasized that opposition leaders’ speeches are not broadcast and called for lifting this restriction.

Speaker of the National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq, responded by asserting that there is no ban on speeches in the assembly.

Barrister Gohar also addressed the assembly, expressing that his speeches are often blocked, suggesting they could be aired later but should be aired nonetheless. The Speaker replied that national security matters must be considered. Barrister Gohar clarified that he does not speak against national security.
