Karachi (Lord Media): The Sindh Education Department has mandated facial recognition registration for teaching and non-teaching staff. According to the department, staff identification registration will occur in June and July, with daily in and out attendance becoming compulsory from August.
The Sindh Education Department has warned that employees who fail to register within the stipulated period will have their salaries withheld. The new attendance system will be directly linked to the AG Sindh Treasury.
As per the announcement, more than two leaves in a month will be considered additional, and automatic salary deductions will occur for late arrivals or absences.
The department has instructed employees to ensure timely registration and attendance to avoid salary deductions.
