Quetta (Lord Media): On the directive of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, it has been decided to send Dr. Mah Noor Nasir, a victim of an acid attack, abroad for treatment. Government-level steps have been initiated in this regard.
The Chief Minister’s Secretariat has issued an official letter for Dr. Mah Noor Nasir’s treatment abroad, under which she will be transferred to the United States. The letter states that all arrangements are being made to provide the affected doctor with advanced medical facilities.
Currently, Dr. Mah Noor Nasir is undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi, which will continue for the next week. According to the Balochistan government, all available resources are being utilized to provide the best possible medical facilities to the affected doctor to ensure her speedy recovery.
It is noteworthy that on June 6, Dr. Mah Noor Nasir was attacked with acid at the Civil Sandeman Hospital in Quetta, resulting in injuries to her and a ward boy. According to the police, the attacker was killed in a confrontation while attempting to flee.
