Lahore (Lord Media): The Lahore High Court has decided to appoint 10 new judges. The Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court and all members of the Judicial Commission have been asked to submit nominations by July 4.
The Judicial Commission has directed the submission of nominations for senior and competent lawyers to be appointed as judges by July 4.
The Secretary of the Judicial Commission stated that names of senior lawyers for the 10 vacant positions will be submitted by July 4, after which the Judicial Commission will convene a meeting.
It is noteworthy that there are a total of 60 judge positions in the Lahore High Court, with 41 currently filled, leaving 19 vacancies.
