Kerosene price cut by 48 rupees per litre

Islamabad (Lord Media): The federal government has reduced the price of kerosene by 48 rupees 29 paisas per litre, setting the new price at 233 rupees 90 paisas per litre. This reduction is effective from today.

Previously, the price of kerosene was 282 rupees 19 paisas per litre. This decrease will benefit households in cold regions and rural areas that rely on kerosene for domestic use and heating needs.

It is noteworthy that the government had earlier reduced the price of petrol by 74 rupees 28 paisas per litre, setting the new price at 299 rupees 50 paisas, and the price of diesel was reduced by 67 rupees 31 paisas to 311 rupees 47 paisas per litre.

Sources from the Petroleum Division have indicated that there have also been adjustments in the petroleum levy on petrol and diesel. The levy on petrol has been reduced by 40 rupees 49 paisas per litre to 66 rupees 25 paisas, while the levy on diesel has been increased by 19 rupees 71 paisas per litre.
