Sera Walk (Lord Media): Pakistan’s two teams have advanced to the quarter-finals of the third Asian Double Squash Championship. Pakistan Team One defeated India 0-2 in Pool B. The Indian team, comprising Rahul and Suraj Kumar Chand, resisted for only 24 minutes. Pakistan Team One had previously beaten Japan and Singapore in the group stage.
Pakistan Team Two overcame Hong Kong 0-2 in a 26-minute struggle in their third Pool D match. After defeating Chinese Taipei in the first match, they lost to Singapore in the second.
Honorary Secretary of the Pakistan Squash Federation, Air Commodore (Retd) Amir Nawaz, is serving as the team manager, while Faheem Gul is the coach.
