Post-mortem report of 9-year-old killed by CCD officer’s gunfire released

Chakwal (Lord Media): The post-mortem report of 9-year-old Hania Adeel, who was killed by the firing of a CCD officer, has been released. The report indicates that Hania died from severe blood loss (Hypovolemic Shock) due to multiple gunshot wounds.

The report reveals that there were 11 bullet marks on Hania Adeel’s body, and a metal fragment from a bullet was recovered and handed over to the police. The firing also resulted in a severe fracture of her right thigh bone.

Sources indicate that due to the sensitivity of the case, the investigation has been transferred from local police to the CCD. The report states that the gunfire affected Hania’s right lung, and her liver and intestines were also injured, with deep wounds on her chest and abdomen.

The post-mortem report also mentions that all wounds are ‘anti-mortem’, meaning the shots were fired before death. According to the medico-legal report, there was a 6 to 8-hour gap between the child’s death and the post-mortem.
