In the first half, Senegal put pressure on the French defense, creating several dangerous opportunities. Nicolas Jackson’s powerful shot hit the post, while Ismaila Sarr missed a golden chance.

In the second half, France played aggressively. Bradley Barcola gave France the lead, followed by a brilliant goal from Mbappe to strengthen their advantage.

Senegal’s Ibrahima Mbaye attempted to create excitement with a goal, but in extra time, Mbappe’s long-range shot dashed Senegal’s hopes of a comeback. Mbappe’s total goals now stand at 58.
