Detroit (Lord Media): A 68-year-old man from Michigan unexpectedly won a 1.05 million U.S. dollars jackpot due to a mistake while purchasing a lottery ticket. The man revealed that he usually gives specific instructions when buying lottery tickets, but during a recent purchase, he forgot to do so.
Typically, he would instruct the cashier to give him any Fast Cash game except the Detroit Lions one, as he believed it was unlucky for him. However, this time he forgot to mention it, and the cashier handed him a Detroit Lions game ticket.
He bought the ticket at a gas station but did not check it immediately, simply putting it in his pocket. Later, upon checking the ticket, he was astonished to discover it had won him a 1.05 million U.S. dollars jackpot.
