Washington (Lord Media): Former U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton has claimed that Iran manipulated President Donald Trump like a violin. Bolton stated that Tehran compelled Washington to play by its rules through negotiations and diplomatic maneuvers.
Bolton, known as a staunch critic of Iran, alleged that Iranian leadership effectively used the negotiation process to buy time and advance its strategic interests.
He said the U.S. administration at times failed to accurately assess Iran’s intentions and strategies. According to him, Iran has long employed complex diplomatic tactics and worked with patience and persistence to achieve its objectives in international negotiations.
The former advisor argued that if one party gains more political or diplomatic leverage from negotiations, it can be deemed a successful strategy.
