PTI criticizes budget, slams PML-N

Islamabad (Lord Media): PTI leader Amir Dogar stated during the National Assembly’s budget session that if PTI’s founder were present, Israel and the United States would not dare attack Iran.

During the session, he criticized the PML-N, saying they used to call PTI inexperienced while claiming expertise in running the country. Dogar added that it’s time for PTI to reclaim its position and move forward.

Other PTI members also criticized the budget. Shandana Gulzar labeled it the worst in the past five years, stating it would further impoverish the poor. Asad Qaiser claimed that 90 multinational companies have ceased operations in Pakistan, asserting the budget is entirely dictated by the IMF.

PPP’s Mirza Ikhtiar Baig expressed willingness to reduce his own spending for defense expenses and urged the government to abolish the super tax slab.

PPP’s Mahesh Kumar Malani noted that the NFC was untouched in the budget, marking a success for the PPP. He further suggested moving towards public-private partnerships to break free from IMF constraints.
