Two charged in theft of England team’s gear

United States (Lord Media): Two individuals have been charged with theft during the FIFA World Cup in the United States, involving the England team’s equipment. According to an international news agency, Mustafa Salik and Irfan Kamal have been accused of possessing stolen goods.

Authorities reported that the stolen items, valued at approximately 18,000 U.S. dollars, included the England team’s kit and other equipment.

The theft occurred while the gear was being transported from England’s training camp in Florida to the World Cup base in Kansas City. Under U.S. state law, the maximum penalty for this crime is seven years in prison.
