Washington (Lord Media): Iran has reportedly sealed underground nuclear facility entrances and planted mines to secure its highly enriched uranium stockpiles, according to U.S. media claims. American intelligence sources revealed that Iran has recently collapsed underground tunnels and installed mines at their entrances.
These measures, sources indicate, aim to safeguard Iran’s enriched uranium reserves, making access more challenging, dangerous, and time-consuming than before.
Reports suggest that a significant portion of these reserves is located in the collapsed tunnels of the Isfahan nuclear facility in central Iran.
In mid-May, the U.S. military was preparing an operation to seize this nuclear material, but it was postponed due to high risks. Subsequently, Iran reinforced these sites.
