Islamabad (Lord Media): In the upcoming fiscal year 2026-27 budget, the government has decided to provide interest-free loans to 86,000 individuals under the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Program. This initiative aims to economically empower low-income groups.
According to documents, a target has been set to complete 80 infrastructure projects to tackle climate change challenges. Similarly, the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program is to be accelerated, aiming to train 120,000 youths in IT and digital skills.
Furthermore, 5.29 billion Pakistani rupees have been allocated in the new budget for this purpose, while 300 million rupees have been set aside for the Prime Minister’s Empowered Youth Internship Program.
