Islamabad (Lord Media): The federal budget speech has proposed a 7% increase in the salaries of government employees. However, the final decision on the salary increment will be made during the federal cabinet meeting.
The finance minister’s budget speech also includes a proposal for a 7% increase in pensions for retired employees.
A special cabinet meeting is expected to approve a 10% increase in the salaries of government employees. Government allies have also suggested a minimum 10% raise in salaries.
