Tehran (Lord Media): Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has stated that Iran’s armed forces will not remain passive in the face of any attack or threat. He issued a stern message to the United States, asserting that despite American setbacks, the US continues to test Iran’s resolve.
Araqchi advised foreign forces to withdraw from the region, noting that the history of the Persian Gulf is filled with tales of the poor outcomes for external interveners, and that foreign troops currently in the region are constantly at risk.
The foreign minister warned that potential human errors and accidents could escalate tensions further, suggesting that the best way to reduce regional tension is for foreign forces to leave.
He emphasized that while Iran prefers diplomacy, other options remain available. Araqchi also noted that the Strait of Hormuz is a shared waterway between Iran and Oman, located far from US shores.
Araqchi further stated that Iranian armed forces are on high alert to respond to any aerial, land, or maritime violations.
