Karachi (Lord Media): The first Hangor-class submarine of the Pakistan Navy, PNS Hangor, built in China, has arrived in Karachi. This submarine symbolizes naval strength, defensive confidence, and advanced military capabilities, featuring state-of-the-art air-independent propulsion technology, sonar systems, stealth design, and the ability for prolonged underwater operations.
PNS Hangor reflects the strong strategic defense cooperation between Pakistan and China. It stands as a testament to Pakistan’s maritime power, national resolve, and defensive capabilities.
It is noteworthy that the commissioning ceremony of the first Hangor-class submarine for the Pakistan Navy took place in China a month ago. On this occasion, Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf stated that the disruption of major sea routes poses a significant threat to global trade and energy supply, and these submarines will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of vital maritime trade routes in the Arabian Sea.
