Brazilian football star Neymar was reportedly involved in a heated altercation with 18-year-old teammate Robinho Jr. during a training session of Santos FC.
According to media reports, the incident took place during a practice session at Santos FC after Neymar became upset with the young player during a training drill.
Reports said Neymar asked Robinho Jr. to “take it easy” after being dribbled past by the teenager, which led to a verbal exchange between the two players. The situation later escalated into a physical confrontation.
Neymar allegedly slapped Robinho Jr. and tripped him during the altercation, after which both players were reportedly removed from the training session.
Brazilian media further reported that Santos FC has launched an internal inquiry into the matter following complaints from representatives of Robinho Jr.
However, the issue was later resolved after Neymar admitted his mistake and apologised to the young footballer. Reports said both players reconciled following the incident.
