World No. 1 Jannik Sinner stormed into the final of the Madrid Open after defeating Arthur Fils in straight sets.
The Italian star produced an impressive performance to secure a 6-2, 6-4 victory and book a place in the final, where he will face Alexander Zverev.
Zverev advanced after overcoming Alexander Bublik 6-2, 7-5 in the second semifinal.
With the victory, the 24-year-old Sinner moved closer to winning a fifth consecutive ATP Masters 1000 title.
He has already claimed trophies in Paris, Indian Wells, Miami and Monte Carlo, continuing a remarkable run of form on the tour.
