Mohammad Ali fined for PSL code of conduct breach

Fast bowler Mohammad Ali of Hyderabad Kings Men has been fined for breaching the Pakistan Super League’s code of conduct during the second eliminator against Islamabad United at Gaddafi Stadium.

According to reports, the player was handed a 10 per cent fine of his match fee for violating Article 2.21 of the PSL code of conduct, which relates to behaviour that could bring the game into disrepute.

The incident reportedly occurred during the 16th over of Islamabad United’s innings in the high-stakes eliminator match played on Friday.

Mohammad Ali admitted the offence and accepted the sanction imposed by the match officials.
