Heavy rainfall and subsequent landslides have blocked the Neelum Highway at multiple نقاط in Neelum Valley, causing significant disruption to traffic.
According to details, the road has been closed at Dwarian, Sheikh Bela and Kel after landslides dumped debris onto the الطريق, halting vehicular movement.
The District Disaster Management Authority Neelum said that passengers are facing difficulties due to the closure, while restoration work has been initiated at the affected sites.
Machinery from the highways department has been deployed to clear debris and reopen the route at the earliest. Efforts are underway to remove mud and rocks from the الطريق and ensure safe passage.
Authorities have advised tourists planning to visit Neelum Valley to exercise caution and stay updated on road conditions before traveling, as further landslides cannot be ruled out amid continuing weather conditions.
