Defending champions of the Pakistan Super League, Lahore Qalandars, are set to feature once again in the Global Super League to be held in Guyana.
According to a spokesperson, Lahore Qalandars will participate in the upcoming edition of the tournament scheduled from July 23 to August 1, 2026, at the Guyana National Stadium.
The franchise had also taken part in the inaugural edition of the tournament, reaffirming its growing presence in international T20 competitions.
Team owner Sameen Rana expressed delight over the team’s return, stating that it is an honour to represent Pakistan on a global platform. He termed the league a valuable opportunity to showcase talent, culture and purpose to an international audience.
Meanwhile, Clive Lloyd, Chairman of the Global Super League, welcomed Lahore Qalandars back into the competition, describing the franchise as one of the most successful entities in international T20 cricket.
He added that the inclusion of Lahore Qalandars would significantly enhance the quality and prestige of the tournament.
