The government of Pakistan has decided to bring the country’s aviation sector up to international standards.
According to sources familiar with the matter, authorities are considering assigning various aviation experts as advisors or focal persons to guide reforms in the sector. The experts will provide recommendations on policy drafting, airlines, flying schools, ground handling, and airport services.
The move aims to introduce structured improvements in line with global practices. Officials said the government intends to leverage the expertise of professionals, similar to developed countries, to enhance the quality and safety of Pakistan’s aviation industry.
A senior source in the Ministry of Aviation noted that the initiative is part of a broader effort to modernize the sector and attract more international and domestic investment. The experts will be tasked with drafting practical proposals to streamline operations and raise standards across all aviation services.
