The Airports Security Force (ASF) has released its annual figures for 2025, highlighting significant operations against smuggling at airports across Pakistan.
According to the ASF, its personnel successfully intercepted numerous attempts at drug smuggling through professional and vigilant operations throughout the year. During these actions, 26.863 kilograms of heroin, 88.7 kilograms of hashish, and 3.113 kilograms of ice heroin were seized, totaling 118.676 kilograms of narcotics.
The force also reported major recoveries in precious metals, seizing 98.5579 kilograms of gold valued at approximately Rs2.936 billion.
Operations targeting money laundering and foreign currency smuggling resulted in the confiscation of USD 1,908,493, GBP 420,480, EUR 202,510, and SAR 2,799,385. Additional foreign currencies recovered amounted to an estimated Rs1.507 billion in total.
ASF officials emphasized that these results reflect the agency’s commitment to curbing smuggling and securing Pakistan’s airports against criminal activities.
