The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has activated new service counters in several countries to provide greater convenience to overseas Pakistanis, the authority announced on Friday.
According to a statement issued by NADRA on its official social media platforms, the new counters have been made operational in Pakistan’s embassies and consulates across various countries. The initiative aims to enhance service delivery for expatriate Pakistanis seeking identification, registration, and related documentation services.
The authority confirmed that new counters have been activated in Montreal and Vancouver (Canada), Milan (Italy), Manama (Bahrain), and Amman (Jordan). NADRA further stated that another counter will soon be launched in Rome, Italy, to expand its international service network.
The move is part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to streamline operations and make documentation services more accessible for the Pakistani diaspora, which contributes significantly to the country’s economy through remittances.
