ISLAMABAD (Lord Media): Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf announced that the entire process for Hajj 2027 has been digitized, allowing 400,000 registered pilgrims to complete applications and payments from home via the Pak Hajj app and digital portal in minutes. During a press conference in Islamabad, he stated that the digital system aims to save pilgrims from long queues, unnecessary travel, and additional expenses.

The federal minister further mentioned that three digital payment methods have been provided, enabling pilgrims to make payments from home. Under the government Hajj scheme 2027, 107,526 seats have been allocated, and the 40-day long Hajj scheme package is priced at 1.2 million rupees.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the collection of the first installment for Hajj 2027 will begin on August 17, with 50% of the selected Hajj package’s cost required in the first installment.
