Theft outside Sindh advisor’s residence raises concerns

KARACHI (Lord Media): A theft outside the residence of Sindh government advisor Raza Haroon in PECHS Block 6 has raised questions about the city’s security situation. Unidentified suspects broke the rear window of a car, entered, and easily fled with the valuable panel.

CCTV footage shows the suspects executing the theft with remarkable calm. They first locked the house gate, then broke the car’s rear window, opened the door, and removed the panel.

According to sources, the suspects took about five minutes to complete the theft with apparent ease. During the incident, a neighbor arrived on a bike, prompting one suspect to pose as a garbage collector to avoid suspicion before fleeing.

Sources indicate that the police were informed via emergency helpline 15, but reportedly did not arrive at the scene for an hour, causing concern among residents. The police have begun investigating the incident and searching for the suspects after the CCTV footage emerged.
