LAHORE (Lord Media): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that entry will be free for all matches of the National Champions Cup, scheduled from August 11 to 18 at the Multan Cricket Stadium. According to the PCB, all seven matches of the tournament will be day-night fixtures, starting at 3 PM.
The National Champions Cup will feature four teams: Pakistan Greens, Pakistan Whites, Pakistan Blues, and Pakistan Gold. The tournament will be played on a single round-robin basis, with the top two teams on the points table advancing to the final.
Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead Pakistan Gold, Shadab Khan will captain Pakistan Greens, Saim Ayub will head Pakistan Whites, and Sahibzada Farhan will lead Pakistan Blues.
The PCB has announced squads comprising 44 players, along with 13 reserve players, for the tournament. The National Champions Cup will also mark the beginning of the 2026-2027 domestic cricket season and is considered significant for preparations for the 2027 ICC World Cup.
