MUZAFFARABAD (Lord Media): Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, expressed concern over the current situation in Azad Kashmir, emphasizing the need for a middle ground to protect the Kashmir cause. He was addressing the office-bearers of the PPP Azad Kashmir in Muzaffarabad.
Bilawal Bhutto stated that the pain of the Kashmiris is shared by them, and fulfilling promises made to Kashmiris is their responsibility. He further mentioned that a year ago, the Pakistan Army had defeated Modi, and any criticism against the army is unacceptable as they are the red line.
He emphasized the need for the country to adopt the right political direction and for all political parties to fulfill their responsibilities.
Discussing the situation in Kashmir further, Bilawal Bhutto said that peaceful protest is the right of every citizen, but violent protests cannot be allowed. He expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of security personnel in Kashmir and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
He called for the formation of an empowered commission to investigate recent events in Kashmir to uncover the facts and find a sustainable solution to the issues.
