WASHINGTON (Lord Media): The U.S. Treasury has initiated plans to feature a sitting president’s image on currency for the first time in history. President Trump, who has already had his likeness included on federal buildings, airports, bridges, and some passports, will now have his face depicted on a one-dollar coin.
Treasury Secretary Scott Basent unveiled the design of the new gold coin, which will display Trump’s face on the front, along with the phrase ‘In God We Trust’ and the dates 1776-2026.
